Just for fun

For the past five years the Washington Post newspaper has been had a contest for dioramas using those marshmellow peep critters. Here are this year’s winners. The past years are there too. Be prepared to waste some serious time and to laugh out loud.

Easter Morning at the Zoo

Late last night we were able to get the baskets all assembled. Since we have such a large family the baskets are placed where the children sit.

Then in the morning we have the grand unveiling and required candy sneaking.

Abby

Maggie

Marian and her jelly beans

Emma

Becky

Patrick

Douglas and his super huge “Dude” bunny

A tired Mandy (teens don’t like having a little ones waking them at 6:30 AM)

Liz

Richard hiding out away from it all.

And then all we have left is this:

Morning chaos

And just because it is so darn cute:

Hop in his new home

And just so you know that isn’t always fun at the zoo.
